Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!

This week is Chinese New Year “春节” (Chūnjié – “Spring Festival”) or “中国新年” (Zhōngguóxīnián – “Chinese New Year”). It starts on a new moon and ends on a full moon – Lantern Festival Day.

I am holding the characters of the Chinese word for Tiger 🐯 “Hǔ虎”，Because this year is “虎年” (Hǔnián) the year of the 🐯.
You can see many red decoration and I am holding Happy New Year “新年快乐” (Xīnniánkuàilè)
I had reunion dinner “团圆饭” (Tuányuánfàn) with friends, meeting up with family or friends is very common, it is like Christmas in other countries.
